Summer Camp 2015
We have an exciting summer camp program planned for our Scouts taking place in July 2015. This year we are going to Camp T. Brady Saunders in the Heart of Virginia Council just west of Richmond on July 12 to 18.
The cost for camp is $320.00 per scout before Mar. 16 and $350.00 after. There is no fee for adults going. This camp is offering 63 merit badges including all of the Eagle required (except Family Life) with no additional merit badge fees! Also, something different from last year, merit badge signups start March 19!
This is early so we will have the merit badge signup starting in February. The earlier you signup, the better chance you have of getting the selections you want. Please find attached the permission slip

Merit Badge Registration
Merit badge registration for this summer camp starts on March 19.
Because they offer 61 merit badges at this camp, signup process will be different this year. Here is the Merit Badge guide for this camp for your sons' review.
We will only have enough at the troop meetings for each patrol so the more work done at home on deciding which merit badges your sons' want is all the better. We will have a merit badge discussion this Monday. The merit badge guide and selection form is found here.
Having them finished by Mar. 16, will give your son the best chance of getting the merit badge classes he wants. The first year scouts will be grouped together in merit badge classes, if at all possible, since this is their first Boy Scout summer camp experience. See you on Monday!

Mulch Sale Thanks
Thanks to all those who came out and helped deliver the mulch.
It was a lot of work, but we got it done. Big thanks to Annalissa Close for her amazing contribution. She had printed out and organized our delivery sheets making it really easy to get the jobs out and to the drivers. She also took all the orders and made a lot of calls to get the orders organized. She did a very good job and definitely deserves everybody’s thanks for her efforts in making the mulch fund raiser a success this year.
